Anyone knows how long does the Nittaku Sieger PK-50 last? Is it durable?

If you are like Ryu Seung Min: half a day.
If you are like my training partner: 1.5 years.
If you are like me: 6-8 months.

All rubbers drop in performance after a month or so. No rubber is "significantly" more durable than another. Surface changes become noticeable after 3-4 months. If you boost regularly, or don't care much about subtle changes, sure you can get a year out of most rubbers.

Cheers.

Does this have anything to do with playing hours or just how hard you hit and how much you engage/use the topsheet and sponge? Like if I play 2-3h/week is it the same as 5h/week?

I don't know what the half life of different rubber formulas are. But of-course, the less you play, the longer it lasts. What's more important?

Matte texture is a sign.
Broken pips is a sign.
Inconsistent grip is a sign.
Rubbers degrade even if you don't use it.

But don't let it bother you. My trainer partner can still beat me with his 1.5 year old non tacky unboosted H3.
