I thought the "Iolite" model had ALC but this one seems to be an older model using Tamca and a generous amount of it too.
It's 9mm total and a notch faster than your standard 1 ply hinoki 9mm.
This is no doubt the fastest blade I currently own. With the amount of carbon that's in this thing I think there's a chance it might be even be faster than the 10mm models.
I only have regular 9mm 1ply hinokis to compare it to (I have plenty of those). I don't think I'll ever be getting one of those 10.5 mm blades. 9mm is plenty fast already.
The thing I find odd about this is how close the composite plies are to the core. It's like taking the "Innerforce" concept and going ham with it. The plies seem to be equally 3mm.
