What is STIGA Cybershape?

What is this new thing that STIGA is marketing, Cybershape?

The picture on their story today looked really cool. A guy in some kind of space suit or something. The hand was censored so my guess its a blade or rubber. Patent Pending as well apparently.

Some kind of new technology? What do you think? Anyone have any inside information?

Perhaps some sort of tracking/analysis tool that predicts the trajectory of the ball upon hitting/spining. For practice purposes. Can’t see how it would help.

Maybe I grab some sandpaper and files and reshape one of my blades that way to see if that "creates a completely new feel during play"... that way at least some weight should be saved

i think that is just an illusion that its head-heavy. i trust stiga that they have found a good balance of the blade.

I think it looks really ugly - can't say I'm a fan aesthetically and can't see how it will be advantageous for gameplay
