Hi! Today i want to share my experience playing against professionals as an amateur.
In 2016 i had the privilege of playing 9 matches in the top italian league A1 (to replace the absence of one of our strongest team member). I played against most of the TOP 10 ranked athletes here in Italy. (some of them are former european or italian champion) I lost 3-2 against the, at that time, ranked 7th (best ITA rank: 3, Best ITTF rank: 496). All other 3-0. I managed to win one match against a young National player (also substituting the absence of a better team member). Now he is one of the best athletes of our country, i'm not!
