tips for blocking with short pips .

i started playing short pips for 3 sessions and i have a problem with blocking far from the table (1 meter ) as the ball tend to hit the net and i feel it has a very low trajectory .
i saw some tutorials on YouTube that says i shouldn't brush but do a punch motion but it doesn't work unless im close to the table .
i will be thankful for your advice .
ps : i play yinhe Uranus pro 2.2 on backhand .

I think if you stand 1 meter away the ball will be to high to block so it will be a very bad short from you. I find in general that it is much easier to just block with inverted. With short pimple you need to be a bit more active and hit the ball a little otherwise the margin for error will be big.

I'm not normally far from the table unless I'm forced to .
i guess i need to play close and more aggressive or learn how to twiddle .
