Other than pre-game scouting ( which I guess all professional players would do ) , how much time do you allow yourself to judge a player and how do you do that ( e.g. serving different serves, trying to return a couple of smashes , trying short / long pushes / flips ) and when do you decide to impose your game rather than play to a players weakness ?

      Dear pro players,
what do you think about ITTF's policy about the new ball?
the speed glue ban, the future booster/tuner ban?

      Thanks for the chance, Dan

What is the easier side in Receiving serve? Forehand or Backhand? I see Dima Otcharov using his Backhands in receiving.. and it looks so easy.

There is no easier side unless you put long pips on that side , and what Dima does in not correct , its just his quirk, he wants to keep his backhand open because he does more of the attacks from his backhand.
