Hello forum, bit of a shitpost here, but I’m interested in knowing anyway.

Does anyone have any kind of an idea what would happen if you boosted and speed glued a high tension rubber? Obviously the rubber will be made softer and may get faster and will be very undesirable to play with, if not damaged/ruined, but has anyone had a go?

Is that like a bizarre tensor on steroids or just some weird soft mess?

What are your thoughts? (obviously I wouldn’t want someone to try now because of the known dangers of speed glue).

You will probably get a weird soft mess. It depends on whether the rubber foam cells are open or closed.
You won't get much booster in a closed cell rubber if any.
I have a bottle of speed glue. I did try to bring an old T05 back to life. It didn't help and it made the spring sponge a weird soft mess. I think the top sheet was the part that had lost its elasticity so whatever I did to the sponge wasn't going to help. I have a ventilation hood the sucks the fumes outside. It really isn't worth the hassle.
