Woho, there is Philippines!!!! I hope they don't drop in the first round. I think Koki Niwa and Ryu Seung Min has the guts to challenge Ma Long.

out of curiousity, why did german (ranked 2 in the world) got 3 player qualified for olympics while china got only 2. anyone can please explain?

I think it should be plain sailing for Ma Long. Would be a bit of a funny upset if he lost after all this fuss

For Ma Long to not qualify it would take a small miracle. There's so many slots and not a single player who he should fear in the draw.

It looks like Ma Long will play Koki Niwa for a spot. It is either that or he is at the semifinals and Koki is his next match.

Ryu Seung Min will play LEUNG Chu Yan.

And Ma Long dropped a few games. He lost a game to JANG Song Man and a game to WONGSIRI Nikom.

Yea, the European Olympic Qualification Tournament was last weekend, once the Asian one is over China will have 3 as well

Dang Koki Niwa that's amazing. I didn't expect him to be the first non-Chinese to beat Ma Long this year.
