Yea he did play Super League doesn't that qualify him? :p I think it should be plain sailing for Ma Long. Would be a bit of a funny upset if he lost after all this fuss :)

For Ma Long to not qualify it would take a small miracle. There's so many slots and not a single player who he should fear in the draw.

It looks like Ma Long will play Koki Niwa for a spot. It is either that or he is at the semifinals and Koki is his next match.

Ryu Seung Min will play LEUNG Chu Yan.

And Ma Long dropped a few games. He lost a game to JANG Song Man and a game to WONGSIRI Nikom.

Two sets dropped from Ma Long already, clearly not good enough for Olympics singles :D

out of curiousity, why did german (ranked 2 in the world) got 3 player qualified for olympics while china got only 2. anyone can please explain?

Yea, the European Olympic Qualification Tournament was last weekend, once the Asian one is over China will have 3 as well :p
