GEWO: 45 degree sponge, reduced "speed glue effect", plays like a classic rubber like Coppa with just a little extra speed and ease of use added. Still a right bore to play.
VEGA: 42,5 degree sponge, much more bouncy than GEWO, but also more lively in all aspects.
If safety, and only safety, is your thing go for the GEWO. But then no, go for Vega Intro.

I like Gewo and I cannot lie.
Then again, I like the Xiom rubbers mentioned too. The safety offered by the Neoflexx series is exactly their strength.
The Nanoflex series, at least the FT48, is still there and hoo boy. Lord of the Dance, a (relatively) unsung gem.
There are steps above, just like Vega has its Omega. A mere mortal will be tempted, but needs to reality-check every now and then and keep the merits of being able to keep the ball in the table in mind as well as the thrill of speed and spin.
