in Japan, scandals regarding Ai-chan's infidelity and subsequent divorce, and Mizutani's adventures at the hostesses club were on prime time TV...

i thought TTD had some kind of scoop there...

Isn't Bernadette Szocs a Tibhar-sponsored player? Looks like she uses Tibhar Quantum X Pro (in pink and black) to me. At some point I think she used the Samsonov Force Pro blade, not sure what she's using now.

I didn't even follow and know all this stuff about Ai Fukuhara. It was always going to be tough on her husband given everything (foreigner, not clearly a big tyme guy etc.) - do you have any good news article on the subject?

NewsPost Seven is a famous tabloid in Japan. But actually those tabloid are usually doing serious investigation journalism, they have uncovered many political scandals historically for example. So not totally comparable to The Sun or the Daily Mail, even they have a lot of nudie pics inside

Because of her scandal, Fukuhara lost a lot (if not all ?) of sponsors and most of her screentime as a commentator on TV. she was nowhere to be seen during the WTTC this year, and very little during the Olympics IIRC.

Now she has a contract with WTT.

They developed the Force Pro further to make her signature blade. If that goes beyond changing the design (for the better) and the handle (looks smaller), who knows. Maybe adjustments...

Watching the latest tournaments, the rubbers are pink on forehand and black on backhand, so forehand should be Quantum X pro and backhand could be something else, but when she promoted the pink QxPro before anyone could have it she did so on backhand, so I would also guess it´s now QxPro on both sides.
