Rubber lifespan

says Aging is a killer
Assuming proper storage as you suggested. My very limited experience, after 12-18months from manufacture experienced players who change rubbers rubbers regularly will notice a performance drop. But from standard, very amateur or hobby player pov, at least 5 years before noticeable. If the User boosts, then they probably will blame the booster or boost procedure for any unexpected

Hi man ;)

better use that kind of vacuum air sealer pump with special bags for ESN rubbers if you wann keep them at least 2 years or so. I don't think it matters that much for H3 Prov. BS, just keep those chinese tacky rubbers out of heat, moisture and air indeed as you've suggested cos' the topsheet is more sensitive than ESN ones: when you let the rubbers scraps out after cutting them on the blade, you'll notice some kind of "oxydation" on the topsheet after some weeks and they become completely frictionless.

Or better: a heat sealer

Recently I sold 2 years old unopened Nittaku G1 to a teammate who previously used T05 and he is satisfied with it and says it plays like expected from a new rubber.
Admittedly he never used G1 before so can't be certain but I doubt there is a noticeable difference to a "fresh" one.

So I’ve decided to stock up on some rubbers because they are running out, and we probably aren’t getting any more for the next few months. How long can you store rubbers unopened, in a sealed zip-lock bag in a dark and cool closet?
Thanks!

good to take the air out.
even if you can't, avoid moisture, and dark/cool closet is fine.
not too cold though (but since its summer, you should be fine). Avoid heat

Those rubbers seem to be vacuum sealed like the H3 Neo series packaging as far as I know, so I don't think it would be affected after only 2 years, as I've said previously: it's not an ESN sponge.

To be more precise with my thoughts:
- chinese SPONGES last longer and are less sensitive than ESN/JAP sponges
BUT !
- chinese TOPSHEETS are more sensitive to heat/relative humidity/light conditions than ESN/JAP topsheets
