I am at the crossroad of changing my style.
I started out as a penholder, attacking FH from all angles. And I naturally step away from the table so I played spinny game from mid distance.
Two years ago I changed to shakehand which greatly improved my FH loop consistency. Yet I still attacked with FH from all angles.
As age is catching up with me, my menisci were torn as a result of relentless aggressive FH loop.
I am training with my chopping style right now. In my case, injury and my nature of hitting the ball late mean chopping will be the way to go.
