Which one ?- Joola Speed or Butterfly 401 (first post)

Hi,
This is my first post here. I am wanting to buy a new bat as I am just starting out in competition. I am looking at the Joola Speed or Butterfly TBC 401 as they are both within my price range. Which would be the best bat? Which has more , control speed and spin - all rounder. What does TBC means? thanks.

Hi Steve. Do you mean around AUD $40-$50 for a racket, and you want to get it as soon as possible?

Hi, that's correct I start comp next week and need one. I can get one of them quickly. Has anyone used the Mark Smyth development bat too? Any feedback will be helpful. Thanks

Hi Steve,

Couldn't find Joola Speed on line here in UK, found Joola Omega speed, which has rubbers listed as black both sides, which would be an issue for competitions!!!!
Found the Bty TBC401 easily, this was quoted as having tacky rubbers. so it should be pretty spinny and slower than the Joola speed (if it lives up to it's name).

Other than that can't offer much help !!!!

I didn't hear of Joola Speed before, but Butterfly 401 is quite popular with the group who are using factory rackets.

People here are used to buy blades and rubbers and assemble rackets themselves, so won't be of much help on factory rackets.
