Hello!

Can anyone tell me if the classic table tennis blade shape has a certain or distinct name? I've been looking for a long period of time, in vain, nothing I could found. Stiga Cybershape is not the context here, just to be aware of the original concept.

Not sure what you mean by classic,
TT bats/blade shape dates back to the late 1800s.
Give you an example, Butterfly company was only founded in 1950, Stiga in 1944 (Stiga is the oldest table tennis brand still in operations today), so many of the Butterfly ie Kenny, are just copy cats from earlier brands.

ITTF History / ITTF Museum would likely have your answer.

Just like many historians and the wiliness to provide answers, you should be able to email them and get the answer you need.

Though you've got a saying in your status, you are doing just the same with your derisive comment at the end.
Jealousness is the utmost devastating emotion, anyway

jealousness
/ˈdʒɛləsni:s/

noun:
- feeling or showing an envious resentment of someone or their achievements, possessions, or perceived advantages.
Example "she was always jealous of my intellectual potency"

I thought Nittaku was from 1920 or why do you not count them as table tennis brand ?

I played with one of those once upon a time. I doubt it was more than the name of a blade or racket. I think I bought it with super sriver at least that’s what I eventually put on it. That was my only bat, no ej-ing in those days. It was even before speed gluing.

Cheers

I was told that Nittaku, or rather Nippon Takkyu was founded in 1947, 3 years after Stiga.

I see that on https://www.nittaku.com/company/
It has both 1920 and 1947 listed
a bit confusing.

My friends at Stiga does say they are the oldest company still around and when I queried Nittaku then, they told me Stiga is older.
So, I'm also eager to find out (from our Japanese friends maybe? or anyone 70~100 years old) on what happened with Nittaku between 1920 and 1947.

Edit:
Found this https://www.nittaku.com/nittaku-history/
So Nittaku first export fountain pens in 1920 and also made table tennis balls
1947, become a table tennis company.
