Hmm, out of context quoting, I love it.

Whats not true about that?
you come into my half, you will be told you are wrong - just like how I'm being told by you that I'm wrong
The American and Brits been having this issue long time ago already, you really want to start this again?

anways, how long do you want to continue this for - what do you have to say or add about this TT champ in your homeland and why are they not releasing the players list?

You’re wrong because your think you’re always right, do I really have to spell it out for you?

And I’m sorry but looks like you’re the one who started it, or should we go back and check the time stamps?

As for the TT tournament, how would I know why or why not they do anything, or are you suggesting you know? Oh that’s right, you have “deep connections” to the ping pong circle in Asia, so let’s hear it then.

Also, I see you ignored the point you brought up about traditional Chinese, is that your tactic? Just ignore the parts you were wrong and find something new to bash around.

Why would I want a person like you to have my email address? Also, there’re prints and written stuff from hundreds of years ago that use some of the same simplified Chinese characters we still use today, or are you so stubborn that you can’t even use google search and take a look yourself? I’ll give you a hint, Yuan dynasty. Also, the use of modern simplified Chinese characters was actually started during Republic of China, way before the CCP. The CCP just promoted the simplification again after the war.

Also, simplifying Chinese characters has always been a thing throughout the ages, or did you forget the very first standardization of Chinese characters was to simplify it and let everyone use the same writing so everyone can understand each other. Oh and btw that happened in Qin dynasty about 2200 years ago.

South Africa is a sad place
350 years of colonial rule.
80+ years of apartheid

Generations and generation of locals that has zero to little education.
The education they have is to teach them to be secondary citizens.
now the leaders they choose in are not fixing education. Without education, it is impossible to improve.
Many years ago, I was part of an organization that donated computers to rural village school.
The tears in they eyes, together with the singing and dancing and wanting to touch our hands, when they see us coming in, and then later my tears of seeing how tough the conditions there.
This is still one of the better ones which has brick and mortar classrooms. I have seen some that don't have roofs, some teach under a tree... yes, in 2022.

1995 till today, is filled with corruptions by the new leaders. South Africa will need time for its own people to fix the crimes of the leaders they chose.
It is pretty much a 1 party state at the moment and until more parties come into the equation, change won't happen.
the corrupted are invincible, because everyone has the hand in the same cookie jar and they all protect each other.
The most expensive property in Dubai is owned by a South African - with close ties to the previous president - someone who had a wedding party and jetted in foriegn citizens and landed in an airforce airport and had security escorted to Sun City (the whole resort was booked out). Many people couldn't believe it, but what can you do about it. Some "major" who arranged it took the fall, but do you really think a major can do so much for a family that is best mates with the big boss?

Your question of economic prosperity is valid, but then again, every one views things differently.
Not everyone choose economic prosperity, some choose freedom, some choose peace, some choose lifestyle (ask all those Europeans who move to a 3rd world South Africa, it doesn't makes sense, but they prefer the climate over a 1st world country service and earning less).

Self righteousness - I'm not going to PR myself to you, but hey, i'm a public figure. You can google me and you can see a lot of my activities with the "black citizens" as you call it.
I can always choose to profit off it, but I'm not in your whatsapp group.
My TT shop came to help the TT community and i'm still using resources through my relationship with vendors to help.

What ever mess South Africa is in, does not determine who I am, or what I do. In fact it is the total opposite - you really need to be in tough places to see what is the true value of being a human
Just like in China, CCP actions does not determine all Chinese are wanting war and not having more rights.
What you did wrong is to make assumptions of because SA is that, so you generalize me or anyone from SA? That is very low.

I do know many people who moved to other parts of Africa that has lower GDP. Google the needs of Human. Its not all about dollar signs.

I didn't make any assumptions about you. I didn't claim you are the cause of injustice in South Africa. I'm just pointing out that YOU of all people, being where you are, have a front seat view of injustice in your own community. Why travel half way across the world to criticize another regime? It's like Muhammed Ali "No Vietcong ever called me nigger"

Yeah, sure, people are lining up to move to Ghana for their democratic freedoms as you claim. The hotbed of immigration. No, 98% of people want to move to rich countries so that they can make money. Again, this is just factual based on immigration data.

Lol, you say you don't want to promote your own self-righteousness, then you ask people to google about your community service. You are the very definition of self-righteousness.

And Duke said it right about you. The definition of being "wrong" is that you don't know that you are wrong. If you know you are wrong, then you would not be wrong. Your own desire to feel righteous and superior fuels your bias.

these are not political reasons, just greed, a phenomenon well known all over the world, regardless
of a political system.

I would simply say that more than one thing can be true at the same time. I'd love to know who in China is heavily invested in the companies that make all the tubes, reagents and other stuff needed for PCR testing. Believe me on this, I am intimately familiar with the fact that that the consumables are expensive as is the instrumentation you need (God knows how many thermal cyclers). I'm wondering where they are stashing the monumental amounts of plastic medical waste they are generating. I can't get my mind around how much a city like Shanghai or Chengdu must generate if everyone is getting tested every few days. Mountains and mountains of the stuff. I digress.

The other thing is that if you run a country and your hero and role model is the guy who brought the Great Leap Forward (where millions of people starved to death) and the Cultural Revolution (which featured vast amounts of human suffering and wanton destruction of a great deal of China's cultural heritage), well then no crisis goes wasted and this a way to show people who is really in charge. Of course you're going to want people to recite your "Thoughts".

I'm far from any sort of expert, and I certainly don't speak the language) but I've actually traveled some in China over the years. I would be a bit surprised if I'm ever able to travel there again. One thing that was noticeable shortly after Xi took over was the vast proliferation of billboards that are basically propaganda signs that my wife says were all over in the Mao era. People of a certain age from there may remember the "Learn from the Example of Li Feng signs". The ones we saw all over in 2017 are a slightly modernized version of the same kind of thing. You didn't seem them when Hu Jintao was running things.

If I had to guess? The tournament will go on even if there is a continued lockdown. They are going to want to win all the medals. And if you start from the idea that these lockdowns have very little to do with people's health, then you would have no hesitation in letting the tournament continue.

Can't argue with that but I have no idea at all why you would post this as a reply to my short statement

Can folks here show mercy and take back Tony because he's wreaked havoc in my WTTC Finals 2022 thread on MyTT? Too much of a 巨婴 to babysit any longer.

What do you mean by take back? take back from where? Did something happen that I'm unaware of?

Three guys are returning home from pub, after drinking couple of beers, after a TT training. They meet a Jin, and he says: "Each of you, make a wish, any wish, and I'll grant it to you". First guy says, "I want to be on the beech in PhuQuoc". And puf, he disappears. The second guy says, "I want to be sailing in Caribic". And puf, disappears. The third guy, most drunk, wakes up a bit and says: "Where the hell are those two junkies. Bring them back."

So, ...
