It was learned long years ago that ping-pang ball would go for a longer distance in hot ambience than in cold. This all comes because of the different drag force at different air temperature. When playing in a hot weather the ball will go far over the table as a result. Being aware of this ballistic effects Chinese coach Mr. Li Sun worked out a novelty grip known as Shakehand Advanced grip that allows your wrist to bend freely. It is to compensate for the possible mishits when playing in a hot summer day.
