Chuang is not good against defenders, if he meets Joo Se Hyuk it was his last match in this tournament. Otherwise his chances are not bad (against Boll 30% and Mizutani 50%)
Mizutani will not win, not very good against defenders (Joo) and 50/50 against Chuang and almost 0% winning rate against Timo Boll

I hope Boll will meet Joo in the Japan Open. Bolls statistic is very positive against Joo but Boll lost the 3 last occassions. Maybe Joo will play with the same equipment he used in the Hungarian Open to prepare again for London ;)

I am sorry, but ... WHAT ????
Chuang beat recently Joo Se Hyuk 2 times to 0 games!!!
What you say in here???
I dont remember, where it was, but I am 100% sure, that Joo is NO THREAT TO CHUANG!!

If Joo is playing and is fully recovered, I want him to destroy this one...send out a message just before the Olympics..would be perfect...I really want him to win a singles medal in London and winning a Pro Tour for the first time in years would be a great confidence booster! With the right draw, he can do it, but I want him to slaughter the opposition lol (in a tt sense of course ;) )

Koki Niwa for me. I think he might be the next big thing in the future against China. I just wish he would grow some more body...

WTTTC it was, 3:0 Chuang won, I think twice!
So do not write any crap he is weak against defense ;)

Joo did not play well AT ALL in the WTTC- he was a little bit injured, so the results against Chuang were basically just blips- i mean, come on, he nearly lost to Chen Chien-An in the groups- when he is fully fit, he eats Chuang for breakfast lol :p

Good morning Michal_Z
Those two wins against Joo Se Hyuk were very surprising for many viewers.
I did not see the match, so am not sure if Joo was injured or if Chuang was playing fantastic.
However, his record against Joo before the 2012 World Championships is 0%.

So I suppose my question is, do you have only short-term memory?

Its not about that..
He beat him twice, overwhelming Joo..
And Chuangs form is quite good lately!
So who cares how many times he lost before, now he is the guy!
Its not about short memory..
Waldner also lost to Guoliang first 4 times..
After that he never lost..

But Chuang is good in playing loop-to-loop rallies, preferably long ones. He doesn't really have a powerful loop to finish off a rally against a defender like Joo in good shape. But we will see what he can do. At least his playing style doesn't match up very well against a defender I'd say.

Wow, is this serious? I cast my vote before I had the information I could've won something with it... Might have picked a different player then...

Yeah well, if it's Koki Niwa, the chances my name gets picked rise to unlimited heights... :)

Okay, just NOW I noticed a different Competition-Thread has started :p All hail to Dan the Man!
