Ma Long & Xu Xin (swap sides)

At the recent China Open World Tour 2012 Men Singles final Ma Long and Xu Xin swapped sides on the final point, similar to that of Wang Liqin and Ma Lin.

I have never seen this done with the backhand side.

I've never actually seen it done with backhand. It's always righty vs righty, forehand to forehand.

Very true, it shows how much ball control these players actually have

So true! But its a nice gesture of Ma Long acknowledging his defeat to Xu Xin with a last show point. He was certainly out played.

I actually didn't notice that they are doing it on the backhand side
Probably it is a sign of Xu Xin's (forehand) dominance over Ma Long (backhand)?

Thanks for sharing, the China Open 2012 was awesome and what a job done by these two amazing players to end the tournament

Thats right. For them to do it, since it is righty vs lefty, it has to be on the backhand side for one of them.
