Wang Liqin played at the "other" China Open in May - lost to Ma Long.

Chen Qi last played a World Tour in January - also lost to Ma Long.

Fang Bo is getting another chance, let's see how well he can do this time. He's not seeded so might need a good draw.

I'd love to see Ma Lin or Boll winning this tournament but who knows, Xu Xin will definitely do his best as he hasn't won a tournament in a while and Dima Ovtcharov, as he's shown us in the Olympics, seems to by in a good shape now Definitely looking forward to see what happens there

I will be hoping he spanks Li Xiaoxia, yayy!

Also I hope Timo Boll will beat Ma Lin and do well in the final.
But I dont think that anyone in the tournament is able to beat Xu Xin..

I think that Xu Xin in olympic shape will come through as the winner. Hopefully we'll se Fang Bo live. It will be fun to see how he has progressed. But where is Yan An? A lot of the young koreans will also be fun to see.

Hey, I want to vote for Xu Xin but I cant because when Ma Long was still on the list I voted for him and now I dont have the option to vote because I already voted. If this could be fixed... It must have happened the same with those that vote for Zhang Jike

and Chen Qi is good against Xu Xin, too (CTTSL) I know long time ago

I hope to see a fight between the two german players, boll and ovtcharov, and the chinese players, xu xin ma lin wang liqin and maybe chen qi. Actually i hope that dima will win, because he is just the best player at the moment beside Ma Long and Zhang Jike at the moment. I was a bit disappointed to see Hao Shuai in the competition...i had hoped for Yan An. But Fang Bo is also good...maybe he is using his chance to get into semifinal or final...

So the main draw is released!!!
Looks like this:
First half:
Xu Xin vs. Chen Weixing
Lee Sang Su vs. Dima Ovtcharov
Samsonov vs. Kenta Matsudaira
Hao Shuai vs. Timo Boll
Second half:
Wang Liqin vs. Jian Zhan
Gardos Robert vs. Ning Gao
Chen Qi vs. Emmanuel Lebesson
Seo Hyun Deok vs. Ma Lin

So the final Xu Xin vs. Wang Liqin is pretty realistic!
Too bad Timo will meet Xu Xin in semifinals, I really cant see him beating Xu ..
But we will probably see Xu Xin vs. Ovtcharov and Xu Xin vs. Timo Boll.. Also Ma Lin vs. Chen Qi can be pretty exciting! And Wang Liqin vs. Ning Gao ..
Well we have many great matches comming up!
