In my opinion, if this decision shows anything it shows that the Chinese National Team is a real TEAM and they are happy to spread the wealth to those who are deserving. It is fitting that Ma Long and Xu Xin would go. They are both excellent players. They are both in the top 3 in the world rankings. And neither of them has won this title yet. Zhang Jike will have more chances to win this title. Wang Hao won this title a few times. 
Good luck to all the players who go.
And I will be rooting for Michael Maze to pull some good old fashioned upsets. I won't mind if he gets a yellow card or two as well, as long as he does it in style.
