I think Ningbo will go all the way! They have been so consistent all the way through this tournament and I don't see any other team defeating them at this stage.

Hm I can't watch it live because of school projects but I'm sure people will upload to YT...
Ningbo has the best line-up, Tianjin's got the worst... The other two seem pretty close to eachother. My predictions:
      Semifinals:
      Ningbo - Tianjin
      Shandong - Shanghai
      Final:
      Ningbo - Shandong

Although Ningbo is the clear favorite i would love to see Tianjin win

      Matches i'd like to see:
      Hao Shuai vs. Ma Long
Joo Sae Hyuk vs. Jörgen Persson

      Zhang Jike - Wang Liqin
      Fang Bo - Xu Xin

      We'll see how it goes

Those are going to be the best matches in this finals.

I'm going for Xu Xin forever.

      @Tommy Lee:
Are you sure that the finals will take place Jan 22-27 and not a week earlier? That would conflict with the Austrian Open where the top Chinese players are entered.

Yes, I'm sure. That schedule is announced by CTTA, I think it already be confirmed, so some top Chinese players will miss the Spanish open and Austrian Open, but these 2 tournament are not super series events.

But Ma Long and Co. are already listed for the Austrian Open! Look at ITTF.com

      Oh no!
It seems that Ma Long and Zhang Jike/Xu Xin will be withdrawn from the Austrian Open if Ningbo and Shandong/Shanghai go to the final.

      Wang Liqin too.
On the women's side, Liu Shiwen, Ding Ning, Guo Yan, Guo Yue, Li Xiaoxia are all in the semis.

This is strange scheduling. The Austrian Open is a big tournament, not "super" but "major" (unlike the Spanish Open, which is a "challenge series" event).

He reply me so quick: "Definitely someone can't go to Austria because of the finals", so mean the schedule of CTTSL finals will not be changed.

Yes, he is very famous in China, may be he is No.1 TT journalist in China

Ningbo really is the strongest so far in the season and with their first loss, they gave revenge through that making them the strongest team so far and Ma Long as the strongest athlete for the season. I just wonder why Ma Long still isn't on top of the world rankings yet. Ningbo is sure to get a place for the finals but I don't know for Shanghai and Shandong. Both are absolutely good, I don't know who to go.On the other hand, the CTTSL should reschedule their matches before Austria Open. I know the Chinese team has time to think about this, because they sure don't want to miss a spot. If it's Ningbo vs Shandong that we want for the finals, why not go for another one in the Austria Open?
