The plastic ball will have a number of effects on the defensive game. Have you had a chance to chop with a plastic ball yet? What implications do you think the introduction of the new ball will have on your game and the games of other world class defensive players and do you think it will improve or reduce your performance level on the World Tour and in major events?

Why do the new young Defenders play with short pimples and not with long pimples. You can clearly see that with long pimples is more spin on the ball and that you have better control.

Wow, great to have an interview of JSH here! :)

Most important questions:

Why did you become chopper in the first place?
How long time (till what age) did you play offensive style before changing to defensive style?
What's your best match ever?
What makes it easier to play against offensive europeans than chinese players? Is it that we (europeans) put more spin on the ball and less speed than the chinese players or from where does the difference come from?

At the Hungarian Open 2012 you beat Zhang Jike 4:0. After the Match you Said you've switched to other pips. To which Ones you switched?

Alright, here is the questions, just near the deadline but I hope things will go well..
I will include my template questions with LOTS of stuff added I think..
I am spewing out questions here (incl. some from Waldner's), so I am sorry if I repeat some other's question.. Here goes..

As usual, edited question(s) by TableTennisDaily and question(s) unused in the final interview are totally understandable (since all of my questions belong to TTD here in this thread):

-What is your personal definition of being a defender in the sport of table tennis?
-What is your history of being a defender?
-Do you see yourself as a defender in the sport of table tennis, or just an attacking player with a different approach?
-How is your family doing? Do you have any table tennis related prospect regarding your children's future?
-What do you think about the future of the kind of playing style you currently embrace?
-Who do you think is the 2nd best defender to you if you are the best defender in the world?
-Who is your table tennis idol/inspiration/aspiration, both nationally and internationally?
-Could you list some players who you like to watch?
-Do you watch your matches @ YouTube?
-How important is equipment in the highest level of table tennis?
-Do you have any plan to coach after your playing days are over?
-Who, is in your opinion, the best junior chopper in the world as of now?
-Have you tried the new poly ball? How do you think will it affect our sport, especially the defensive playing style?
-What specific aspect of the game (e.g. service, receive, short game, deception, etc) is important to make it big in table tennis?
-Has the speed glue ban affected your game? Could you specify?
-Do you think future choppers could be number 1?
-Do you boost your equipment?'
-What do you think about the previous ban of frictionless long pimples?
-If there is anything you would like to change in our sport, what would it be?
-What do you think is your biggest success?
-What do you think is your best weapon in table tennis?
-Which was the hardest time of your career?
-What is your main driving force that keeps you competing in the sport of table tennis? How do you motivate yourself?
-In your opinion, how hard is table tennis compared to many other sports?
-To be a good player, how long does it take in a week to train?
-What is your major goal in your lifetime career in the sport of table tennis?
(edit: extra question! In your opinion, what differentiates the Korean team from the rest of the world?)
(-In your opinion, what differentiates the Chinese team from the rest of the world?)

aaand my template questions from Bojan Tokic's and Kim Min Seok's interview:

-What is your motto in training?
-How often does choking happen? What do you do to prevent choking?
-What is your opinion about the Chinese dominance in our sport of table tennis?
-What do you think about the previous generation of table tennis?
-What do you think about your generation of table tennis?
-What do you think about the next generation of table tennis?
-What do you think about table tennis' prospect in South Korea?
-What do you think about table tennis' prospect in the world?
