That's the difference when they do not have their coaches. If he had had his coach he would have been able to change his tactics to win. Liu guo liang must be surprised that with the experience Ma Lin has, he couldn't win. Excellent match!

Ma Lin won 2 matches out of 3 he took part in. The opening one against Liventsov, then in the 3rd meeting he with Tan Ruiwu took an upper hand in doubles against Liventsov/Burov, and then right after this match Ma Lin played against Russian National champion in singles Viacheslav Burov and lost in the best of 5 (2:3). In General the whole match was very dramatic with lots of chances for UMMC but in the end Ma Lin's club lost 3:4.

Why is Ma Lin using a BTY t-shirt? Is he sponsored by bty now? And I've never heard about Viacheslav... Their first game was cool xD

Viacheslav Burov is this year's National Champion of Russia. He is from Saint-Petrsburg but plays in Moscow tt club "Magistral". He is currently ranked as 211 in the world.

This is the club match, so Ma Lin is representing the club he signed for, not CNT. And mostly bty is one of UMMC sponsor, that's why there is a logo on it.
