Okay, Ma Long struggled with Timo and Wang Hao used tactics, experience and his short game to take care of Yan An. Not that different than what Wang Hao did to Ma Long in the semis at the Worlds in 2011. Lets see if Ma Long can handle it. I am not so sure he can. Yan An's short game and backhand are better than Ma Long's.
Will Ma Long get over the hump and beat Wang Hao in the semis this year. Until today I thought he would. But, after seeing today's matches I am not so sure.
I think Yan An might have taken care of Ma Long. I think Wang Hao has a real shot.

ZJK is unstoppable !! he was 10-6 down in 3rd game then boost and win that game 12-10 and destroy Patrick in the next games !!! no one even Xu Xin or Ma Long can stop him.
ML vs WH will be a nice match . i hope ML wins it .
ZJK vs XX : i think ZJK will win 4:1 or 4:0
ML vs WH : i think ML will win 4:3
if ML face ZJK in final ZJK will win 4:2 or 4:1 . he is just unstoppable !!

Timo is trying to change his game to play closer to the table which is the same techinique used by Japanese players.. he is not able to block efficiently and balls goes out.. If you see his game here.. when he suddenly tries to mix with close and far play, he hits the ball out.. Xu Xin and Ma Long have not changed much.. Xu Xin still loves to play far from table with long extended arm(maybe thats why he has less control compared to Ma Long) whereas Ma Long now does not extend his arm completely to just keep control..

My bet: ZJK - Xu Xin 4-2. I think Zhang Jike is the only one who can beat Xu Xin and he proves during this championships he is unstoppable.And, my heart goes naturally towards ZJK...
Ma Long - Wang Hao 4-3. Ma Long played well today but he showed some difficulties against Timo Boll. I think his match will be interesting and I want to see how Ma Long will behave and overcome his difficulties.

I won't say # of games. But, I think this:
ZJK beats XX
WH beats ML
I hope I am wrong and ML can pull it out. I don't really care who wins between ZJK and XX but I hope ML wins and don't think he will.
A ML v ZJK final would be fun and great for the sport.
