It is more than just rubber, the blade plays a huge role in the final result.

If you want a blade that will spin the ball over and over, don't look any further than $10 USD Galaxy 896. (ALL+ to OFF - in speed)

A gazillion rubbers can work with it, but mid firm or softer works best with it, not hard sponged rubbers.

H3 neo is great for that shot with that blade, so is the softer versions of Tibhar Aurus and Evolution.

There is always the fight over how to create spin by hitting through and accelerating, or grazing, but these rubbers will give you your spin either way.

I prefer to engage the sponge on slow looping and that means I need a somewhat softer sponge than normally required for power play. I can get by well enough with a hard sponged rubber (like Aurus regular of Evo MX_P) on a stiff composite blade since I used that setup a while, but others have their preferences.

Many softer sponged Chinese tacky rubbers can get the job done as well, but you lose/gain stuff.
