    changing grip during rallies ?

    i am shakehander and i want to know is changing grip ( BH domination to FH domination and vise versa ) good during a rally ? do pros change grip during rallies ?

    It is normal to change grip a litte, but not too much. Almost all the top players change grip during the rallies. Take a look at this ping skills good video

    I change my grip when I hit b/h automatically , I have to use a strait handle because its more uncomfortable with a flared handle.

    Yeah lots of top players do but Timo Boll is one of the most obvious ones. Watch how he prepares for his next shot and changes where he places his finger. That's why he also uses a straight handle

    I have seen a video where Waldner explained and showed how he changed his grip. I figured something out that works really well for me. I don't even know I am doing it when I play. It just happens naturally as I change the angle of my wrist and it falls right in line with what the ping skills guy says in that video: on the backhand I am holding the blade face between my thumb and forefinger; on the forehand, as my thumb goes down, the racket angle opens out to make the grip more forehand friendly.
