Gluing Rosewood NCT V

Hey guys. I bought a Stiga Rosewood NCT V blade. Recently, I read about issues in gluing a rubber into it. Is it true? People say many different options of a good glue. And a friend of mine told me something about the the Donic sheet. Please, I ask your help...

I have ebenholz which is thesame.
I used regular rubber cement and had no problem (didn't seal or sand or anything, just glued it how it came).
I guess each glue will behave in a different way.

i used donic vario glue.. it sticks on but the bond wont be that strong because of the nct layer which is so smooth.i sanded mine but probably a little too much. which ended up causing it to splinter when i remove the rubber for the first time

you might get away with it if you use very fine sand paper and jsut go over it once or twice
