The commentator is a frigging joke, only tells the score and keeps silent most of the time. Couldn't have they found someone who actually knows a thing or two about table tennis?
ITTF needs to find a good couch to be the commentator. He can analyse the tactic and techniques of players. I don't think it is hard to find someone like that.

FZD: currently the best U21 year old in the world?

Haven't seen all of FZD's matches from Kuwait yet but in the semi-final against Zhou Yu and final against Yan An the quality of his shots and the speed and relative consistency (given the strong spin and speed of topspins he is countering) from FZD was unbelievable, I can only see Ma Long and Zhang Jike been better than him (currently) and even then it's pretty clear to me that on any given day he would already be a serious threat to both. I can already foresee that in 2016 FZD will be one of the two selected from the CNT for the Olympics in Rio at age 20??

I know thats a big call, but age, hard work and talent seems to be all on the right side for this amazing player. Unless the new ITTF ball changes gameplay greatly...

I really hope he fulfills his complete potential, watch out Zhang Jike, Ma Long and Xu Xin (all currently ranked higher than FZD)

If Fan Zhendong wants to be in the 2016 Olympic Games singles event he must be ranked #1 or #2 after 2015 WTTC in the world ranking. He is currently #4 in the wold ranking. Zhang Jike, Xu Xin and Ma Long are in top 3. He should do his best if he wants to be in 2016 OG. It's highly unlikely. Most likely Zhang Jike and Ma Long will qualify for men's singles event.

I actually think that this is not that unlikely. He is really improving very fast. FZD's biggest problem till now was that in open rallies against ML and ZJ he lacked the power to really come through. In the recent match against Yan An he has proven that he is now able to really excel in the open rallies :)
