For Hong Kong, I really think they should give the promising young player WONG Chun Ting (born in 1991) a chance instead of Tang Peng, who was born in 1981 and already 33 years old.

Well, Tang Peng is still one of the best in the world (taking note of his performance at the world cup last year) and HK's #1 currently. Wong Chun Ting has a lot of potential but he still has a lot to work on to gain a spot in such event.

I think you are right. Also, I learned that in order to qualify for Asian Cup, you have to have top WR in December 2013. Since Wong's ranking was around 120 or something at that time and only made an impressive run at Kuwait Open recently, he probably won't be able to qualify for Asian Cup even HK team pull out Tang Peng.

Actually, I'm not very familiar with HK's players. Is Wong considered the best among younger players?

Wong has the biggest jump in ranking this month and now the third in HK behind Tang Peng and Jiang Tianyi. He definitely is the best of the young generation of HK now.
