Before the action on the World Team Table Tennis Championships on April 28, I need your help for our upcoming tournament!

This will be my first. So I need help guys on you know, tips before, during, after the event? Like some rules I have to watch out for. And I need to know from you guys if the rubber Haifu Blue Whale 2 national tuned will be okay for such an event? Isn't there some kind of a machine that detects VOC for these higher levels of tour? Will it be okay to use such rubber?

Any general tips will be a great help too! Thank you! :)

Thank you guys for the encouragement.

My question now is the rubber Haifu Blue Whale 2 National tuned ok for this event? Anyone here who have used the rubber in any ITTF event? Did it pass any of the test for rubbers?

If it is not thicker than 4 mm than it's okay. Do you use it already or you will be changing rubber just for the tournament?

My Baracuda is pretty worn out so I'll be changing to it. I am changing back to Chinese rubbers.

Pretty interesting, I would never change rubbers a week before competition from baracuda to chinese rubber, but it's okay if you think you can habituate to it.

I have a month before the competition. I am not sure yet whether to change back to chinese rubber or to buy a faster tensor than barracuda (m1 or m2). But I really miss playing with Chinese rubbers.

Actually, i'm Chinese FH and euro BH. I've only tried the Baracuda for one playing season and though the spin is huge as well as the catapult compared to the Chinese rubbers I'm using, I miss the better short game of the Chinese rubbers as well as the unique spin dive it gives. Also, I think I've develop some flaws using Baracuda because of the easiness of it's play. I'm pretty conflicted. lol

Hey Harvs get back to chinese rubb, it gives you more stability and control with fh strokes. Jumping to a new tensor will force you to learn., 1month is not enough. By playing back to chinese then pump it with multiball training every other day.. im sure you will grasp it in no time

Thanks! Control is what I love with Chinese rubbers. And I'm much more confident playing with them anyway.
I'd love to try hurricane 3 national! But it's so expensive! The haifu blue whale I'm talking about is pretty good and it's cheaper, but the inconsistent sponge is what drives me off.

I am a player in University of the Philippines Baguio.
