what is happening to Seiya Kishikawa in recent times?
At wtttc 2014 he lost both? his games he played in,now he dropped in the first round of japan open.
To me it seems his career is on a downhill.
I really hope he can get back to his old form.

Yea, he seems to have lost a step or something. Always like seeing him crush backhands. At least he is still in doubles.

I dont see any adjustments by japan coach regarding seiya style. That heavy legs of him is dragging his game down, he rely too much on his upper body strength and knowledge of blocking and punching return.. when you are against a heavy attacker you have to be aggressive and hungry in attacking and smart to return the ball away from your opponent.. his opponent is always one step ahead of his plan coz he play passive most of the time and one mistake is that he return the ball near his opponent. Mizutani has already evolved as a player tru the years... Whenever he make a bad return..he always make a point of attacking the next to favor him or returning the ball again to where his opponent will have less chance of attacking strong til he positions himself

the assistant umpire should issue an official apology to Mizutani. This is a shame. There are already two umpires in a match to make sure these things do not happen
