Review Request: The classics

I really like TTD's review system but a lot of developing players would prefer to use slower rubbers to improve their skills and correct their technique. I would love to see reviews of Sriver, Mark V and perhaps also Donic Baracuda as these rubbers are used by players who are either not very experienced or want more control. They are also very popular rubbers as both Mark V and Baracuda have more than 100 ratings on Tabletennisdb.com and Mark V has the second highest number of users (after Tenergy 05) on that website.

This is a great idea, we are planning to review these type of rubbers/blades in the the future. Perhaps we could do a review with 3 old classics in the one video. That would good. This week we will be launching to new reviews, keep an eye out for them

search the TTD site for upsidedowncarl and der_echte's suggestions about beginners set-up...they have very good suggestions, if i may use one by der_echte's,try this set-up: Galaxy896 blade and Dawei XP 2008, its a cheap set-up but very good...another one, try colestt.com for cheap combos for beginners...

I have a pretty good set up at the moment (Donic Powerallround Persson V2 + Mark V in 2.0 on both sides) but I was just curious to see more reviews but I'll look into those suggestions when my rubbers lose their grip.

stick with the classics if you cant train at least 3 times a week. had a hit with the barracuda it feels weird even with a couple years of experience.

For the OP, I'll be doing a video review on my setup Clipper blade!

only it was a Clipper CR but still it is a classic allwood blade.

Baracuda is a classic rubber? Since when?

I think he meant that Baracuda leans more to the Classic style of rubbers than being from the old school.
