Why no ESN brand released short pips with newer tensor technology?

Hi all,

Seems like there's not newer tensor short pip rubbers. It's because the upgrades to the latest gen ESN rubbers are useless to use on short pip rubbers?

Thanks,
Eduardo

What is tensor technology?
What does it do?
Do you know what a tensor is?
More importantly, what do you expect tensor technology to do for you?
ESN uses the word tensor as a marketing term that really doesn't mean anything.

Sorry, my english isn't the best so I maybe couldn't explain me well.

For example, you have recent ESN rubbers, like Omega VII, Bluestorm, Rasanter, right? I'm asking why no brand(that requests his rubbers on ESN factory) makes a short pips rubber with the new upgrades from the latest gen ESN rubbers? Does the new upgrades from latest generation of ESN rubbers are useless for short pimples?

Ito is beating players with the Moristo SP that has been around since Apr 1, 2002. Same deal for inverted. The Fastarc G-1 Ito is using has been around since Jul 21, 2010. Newer isn't always better, but almost always pricier.

Didn't knew that  Thought Moristo was made after SG era!

Both Germany, but seems Moristo is from Speed Glue era, as Zeio said

Ok. I've tried them both for about an hour each on two of my training partners blades (both use Viscaria). None of them are very fast if you compare them to modern ESN or Butterfly pips in rubbers. Rakza PO was way easier to use for someone who is used to pips in rubbers. Looping is quite easy (but not really the point with SP rubbers so I fail to understand the purpose of this rubber). Moristo SP is not that different to classical SP rubbers which really makes me admire Mima Ito even more.

I can imagine that the companys that make rubbers do not focus as much on making short pimple rubbers since it it not many that use them compared to inverted, so maybe they do not make so much money from them? Just speculating.

Yeah probably it's that, but thought they could release a new SP rubber in every gen of ESN rubbers, at least on every gen of ESN that they upgraded something that could be useful for SP rubbers

Xiom Vega Spo is a 2016 generation and should be considered as modern at least as the well known Vega Pro.
Of course its true that we can not expect PO rubbers to be released as often as the reversed.
Thought Vega SPO was from Vega Pro time. Wasn't Vega Pro released around 2010-2012?

Even earlier - about the end of 2009, and is still very very popular.
I don't know why you think that if its Vega, it should be old, Vega Tour is very fresh.
I see that SPO players would like to see more modern examples, but a 2016 tensor is pretty modern.
In fact have you ever tryed it?
