I really love the feels of 1 ply hinoki, seems like you feel holding the ball everytime it hits your racket, the catapult and kick effect, short game control.
Cons: Heavy: total set-up 240grams
And some says, easy to split.
All 1 ply hinoki users, what blade did you try that is available right now similar to 1 ply hinoki?

You can’t duplicate the feel of a 1 ply with several plies. You can get the ball hold though. Look for a topsheet with thick layer of hinoki (or spruce also works). All limba top layers I’ve seen are on the thin side but maybe a thicker limba layer would do it too…
So if it’s the feel your after stick to a 1ply…
