Advice on DHS rubbers.

ok so I tried the DHS hurricane 3 Neo (regular version I guess? It was cheap on megaspin for around 26usd or so.)

What I liked is the crazy spin. pretty ok control etc.
However its sloooow.
Now..... if one wanted a similar DHS rubber but just much much faster what would you choose?
Im asking because there is so many versions out there its overwhelming honestly.
orange sponge vs. blue sponge? whats the difference?
then we got commercial, national etc etc. whats the difference?
or should one just drop all that and boost the regular H3n rubber?

Anyone who could shed some light. give overview and maybe some advice on a really good DHS rubber would be appreciated.
Maybe also mention what is good if NOT boosted?
And whats good IF boosted?

Keep playing it and you will like it more and more. You will learn to hit harder to overcome the slowness. I have done this except for from position 3, but almost never there anyway.

Why did You select H3 in the first place?

You won’t find a rubber as spinny, but Tibhar Hybrid MK is the spiniest ESN rubber I know and it’s not very catapulty but has a healthy speed.

In my opinion, if you wanna use DHS rubber on FH side, then you should stick with H3N. Boosted H3 Neo should play as fast as any rubber in the market if you have the compatible (not right or wrong, just compatible) technique. Even for regular unboosted H3N, if it feels too slow then may be you need to change your strokes a bit. The orange sponge H3 is tiny bit faster than the blue sponge ones on low effort shots regardless of version, but slower on top gear, and the harder the sponge, the more power and speed you get out of it once you get the hang on the Chinese techniques.

Unboosted: Probably Bloom Power or Rxton 9.

They're all really good as H3 alternatives.

Hurricane 3 Neo Blue Sponge (provincial or national) is probably the best forehand rubber out there in terms of speed and control, but only when boosted will you get any speed. It has all the gears; for me, on the touch play and slow shots, it’s so easy to control as it’s slow, but once I put my forehand drive and especially topspin into play, it is faster than nearly every other rubber I have tried on FH (the only rubber I think is faster that I have tried is probably T05H). You do need to have a chinese style to play H3N Blue Sponge but once you adapt, you can’t change it. You must always boost H3N for any version to get the best out of it

National has more quality control, more accuracy to hardness. otherwise they are the same rubber.

You should boost the H3n. I remember it had a great reaction to booster

It lasts longer if you don’t boost it imo. My first H3N Blue was un boosted and it lasted longer than my second booster H3N Blue (1st 1.5 years vs 2nd 6-7 months)

Boosted H3 is a good choice.

I would also recommend Stiga Mantra XH, or Tenergy 05 Hard. They have a similar feeling to H3, but they're a bit springier and take less strength to activate the power. Plus, they'll last longer than a boosted rubber.

It's not slow, it takes a bit to break in. If you still don't like it then boost it. The Chinese like 2 layers of kailin booster.
