Great! You would be the perfect person to review Moon Speed 53 because you were using Xiom Vega before. They are supposed to be quite close. Let us know how you find it.

Also if you need a Inner fibre blade, why not use the Yinhe 05?
Gan reviewed the x version of it which is supposed to be the higher quality Version of yinhe blades and his mentioned errors were a dealbreaker for me. They would even worsen my current weaknesses which i am definitly not searching for.
I suppose the kevlar and pbo layers blades are still smth like "in development" because several blades with it have issues like that.

The vsea doesnt have those according to him but his 400rmb are not 50 but over 100€ for me here. Thats quite rough for a blade setup i cant even imagine how it will feel due to lack of experience with it. Interesting test either way, but i dunno. I guess i still wait a bit and search for a miracle that decides for me xD

Might as well try Stuor for $30!

Also, if you take advantage of the sale, you can get the VSEA for the discount price of $95 plus $15 discount for the spend and save sale.

So it comes out to be $80.

For a meager US $26.91

Just ordered it.

The only thing that bothers me is that i wanted to try an inner ac blade like sword 968 and then there are newer blades in higher quantity and from more sources availlable like the Sanwei Dragon Dance and the Sword Vsea which just got available for my country as well... but all of them are not very cheap and there are literally no decent reviews (except for the vsea from gan) for the blades.

I guess in the end it will be a battle between the inner EJ who wins or the force of habbit and the budget player in me who goes back to the pro 01 :ROFLMAO:

You did a great and very thorough job reviewing Moon 12 Blue so I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of Moon Speed 53.

Did you order the M- or M+ this time?

Beo didnt give me a choice here. And for a first test it doesnt matter too much actually. I tested several rubbers and the difference one hardness degree or level didnt make much of a difference. I mean there is but it is smth you can neglect in a first try because you dont know anyway how the rubber will feel and behave on your blade.

Btw i have the moon pro still here for test too.
I could imagine the moon pro being in between the blue and speed 53 in terms of speed though the pro should be bouncier because it is softer... But we will see

I was just looking at Moon Pro yesterday (the version in the gold foil package) since it showed up as #4 on this list of top Chinese rubbers:

I can't make sense of some of the reviews on it. Some say it's a tacky Chinese hard rubber, others say it's non-tacky, bouncy and soft. I wasn't as interested in it since it's been around for over 12 years now and still the most expensive Moon by a large margin. But that purple sponge is pretty cool and some people really think it's a great rubber that helps you put every ball on the table, so I'm much more curious now.

Regular Moon and Moon Speed's characteristics are pretty well known at this point. You'd probably be one of the first to try all the weirder versions of Moon. Somehow I've been sucked into using some form of Moon for my BH, so I'm very much looking forward to your future testing 🙏

Definitely slower than Battle 2, but they are similar in the sense that they have firm dense sponges.

Big Dipper and Jupiter 3 have bouncy fast sponges.
Totally agree with you. I also read good reviews and tried Battle 2 provincial version with an orange sponge on the forehand. It seems to be a good rubber, and there is rotation and speed, but something is not at all right in it, I still do not understand what is wrong in it. Perhaps a very small delay time of the ball on the rubber. For me, it is no match for either Hurricane 3 or Jupiter. Maybe it just doesn't suit my style? In general, I was disappointed in this rubber. Moreover, I tried it on different blades with different rubbers on the backhand (which, by the way, also affect the perception of the tested rubber) without a booster and then with a booster...
The option of getting into my hands counterfeit rubber is not ruled out. It would seem who would do it, but about ten years ago I came across a fake hurricane 3

I also look forward to your reviews! I also played the regular Moon on the backhand for quite some time in the era of celluloid balls, but after the appearance of the plastic ball, everything changed, and I frankly did not like the Moon speed due to the lack of grip and crumbling top sheet.

The confusion of the many versions stopped me of looking to much into reviews on those as long as i am not sure that it is the exact same rubber i have in mind^^

Just for you i already took down the upper film of the rubber. So it is slightly tacky, comparable to Rakza Z. So definitly not strong enough to pick up a ball but probably enough to slow down impact.

I ordered my second Stuor blade from Aliexpress last week, same as the one i have already which i bought from Aliexpress too last year, it is a great blade really and i loved it, i even tested with two rubbers for first time for me and it was amazing already, so i ordered again, i also ordered in the past that hexagon shape blade from Stuor also but sold it to someone, and also Lemuria 7 ply wood, i think i am happy to buy those cheap and gave them a try to find out that they aren't bad at all.

Ah ok. I have that one too
It is really nice blade, maybe because the rubbers i used with it also made a difference, so i can't say something bad about it, and i am not a higher level or advanced player, so that is enough for me, i enjoy playing it.

I also ordered a FL just for fun, it looks nice btw
The second one i ordered is ST so i can try it with LP rubber and defensive style, but if i sell it maybe then i might get the FL and keep it as offensive while i buy the other one the hexagon with ST handle and use that for defensive.

I like it because it is almost a truly nice mimic/replica of DHS Ma Long 5 blades, i don't care how much difference between the two, i have both so i can enjoy using both, in fact i bought this replica to be as a backup and practice/training blade more than playing games blade, but sounds i use it for playing more now, so i think i buy a second one to be as backup and practice blade for both, the DHS and Stuor.
