I used Primorac Carbon with speed glued Bryce 2.1 both sides in the late 90’s/early 2000’s then Gergely 21 before stopping.

I came back on and off during celluloid 40 and the closest I found was Xiom Zetro Quad.

In this period I had tried/hit with Waldner Legend Carbon, Li Ping Kitex, Ovtcharov Carbospeed, Xiom Axelo and Strato.

I had TSP Hino-Carbon in the cart but never pulled the trigger as from memory it is a larger headsize ~160x152 similar to Donic Waldner Legend Carbon. From my research I believe these were meant to clone the larger headsize of Sardius instead.

The ones I tried all felt abit off before discovering the allwood Septear that I could build back confidence until finally finding Zetro Quad while randomly travelling in Malaysia.

However, with this plastic ball I found thick hinoki to be far too reactive in counterplay and resorting to passive blocking to be too weak against today’s modern style.

I’ve had to move on to koto+composite or hardwood paired with hard higher throw rubbers.

It’s indeed sad to forego the attacking feeling of hinoki 😢

No difference.
Butterfly got rid of the "+" and "-" a while ago, so the Primorac Carbon is now "OFFENSIVE" instead of "OFF+" and the Primorac all wood blade for example is also "OFFENSIVE" and no longer "OFF-".
