Are there any differences between DHS Hurricane Long 5 W968 and DHS Hurricane Long 5 W968 Golden Slam?

Hello TT friends, I will buy DHS W968, but I can't decide between the Golden Slam and the non-Golden versions.

Do you have any information about their differences except the logo of Ma Long at the bottom of the handle?

For amateurs under 2300 USATT ish. Get the gold slam version of W968. Its surface limba layer is more thin and the core is thicker. It’s overall slightly stiffer and faster and better for backhand. The quality of the forehand is still just as good just with a slightly lower arc compared to non golden version.

If you are an amateur, do not buy a national W968. It’s expensive asf and You do not have the skill necessary to activate it. Just get a provincial W968 if you really want a DHS blade because the commercial DHS blades are of poor quality. Or just get a Viscaria or FZD ALC. Both Prov W968 and Vis/FZD are way cheaper and better for amateurs than national W968
