For some matches yes, but this is not universally true. It was noticeable for the finals and semis but wasn't the case in the earlier rounds.
Yea, semi and finals they did not show any of the games that China was playing both mens and womens team. I had to watch it from a different youtube channel instead.

Today they didn’t show Xiang Peng singles game in one of the smaller tables.

Let’s see if they will show the matches that China is playing later today but I have a feeling they will not broadcast those games as well. I think Wang Chuqin and Lin Shidong matches are on later today.

No information on why ATTU Live Youtube channel is not broadcasting some games particularly those games where China players are involved.

I like to think they don't even know themselves which matches they are streaming.

EDIT: am I blind? Miyu and Miwa are playing next to Odo/Yokoi, but I don't see it on any livestream.
Chen Xingtong and Kuai Man are playing right now but when I go to the official stream Table 2 it’s showing a different game instead.

At least it ain’t just China players but looking at Miwa/Miyu they are playing against Chinese Taipei. Maybe when China and Chinese Taipei play no stream available on ATTU live Youtube Channel.

Seems like that's not 100% the case because you can see a Taiwan pair on table 1 right now. It sucks we are missing out on matches because they don't post individual matches or highlights.

EDIT: I spoke too soon. Stream died on table 1 and you have to watch it via CBA.

Table 1 is Lin/Lin China live right now but on actual Table 1 feed on ATTU Live channel showing Jeon/Shin game which is already finish.

They are purposely not showing the China matches for some reason. This can’t be a coincidence. So far no matches that have China playing today have been shown live on ATTU Youtube channel.

I guess you know better than actual pros, coaches and players
What make you think he didnt call the timeout?

Maybe you must come and play or coach first and then publish your book
By rule, the team/coach has priority for timeout in team competitions and the individual does in singles competitions. So if he called the time out and his player didn't agree, then the coach betrayed his responsibility to the team by listening to the player or not knowing the rules.

hm.. I'm not sure what rule you have here.
each player and coach has they own relationship and way of doing things.
there are no rules as far as I know.

This isn't CNT where coaches are the boss.
in many countries, the players has a say in a lot of things, including the player calling the time out before the coach calls. You might say that is against the rule too?

Now, the coach for the team is LYJ's personal coach, because in Taiwan, no1's coach is also the team coach.
I am sure the coach and Lin knows what they are doing.

You guys probably didn't saw, but Lin rejected the time out by shaking his head when the coach asked him if he needs it.

again, different players and coaches works differently and I have seen this kind of "asking" many times, including in Bundesliga matches where the coaches and players are not that familiar with each other.

also, when the coach is not the players coach, it is also common to see players coach each other and not the coach.
you might then tell me that is against the rule.... but in real life, there is no rule, only formalities and how ever it works best for the players, they are doing what they prefer

The rule is that if in singles competitions, players are allowed to ignore the coach and in team competitions, coaches/teams are allowed to override the player.

Of course, it is the coach's right to listen to the player. But sometimes, a coach knows better than the player. Well, they are still friends and that is what matters I guess.

So, Chuang is 99
The rule is that if in singles competitions, players are allowed to ignore the coach and in team competitions, coaches/teams are allowed to override the player.
Where is this rule listed?
and LYJ didn't ignore the call, it is very different if he ignored it. He rejected it by shaking his head when the coach asked him about it. There was no call, else once if it is called and umpires accepted, it will be used up.

This asking-rejecting has happened quite a few times already

Of course, it is the coach's right to listen to the player. But sometimes, a coach knows better than the player. Well, they are still friends and that is what matters I guess.
well, how they want to work, I guess they have talked about it before.

I personally have some disagreement with some things in the Lin camp, just like I have on ITTF, CNT, WTT etc. but the way they handle time out calling to me is a non issue. I would also have called time out at 10-8 or 10-9, but I am not lin and he felt it wasn't necessary at that time and his coach accepted.
Both of them needs to live on with that decision.

but to claim no time out was called by the coach, is very misleading and of course certain people will love to make use of not knowing the truth to lead certain view points.

One head coach told me today, when Lin was progressing, he is attacking every player in front of him.
now he is at the top, everyone is attacking him and on top of that, attacks will come from all angles and even off the table.

Lin would at times train at this head coaches base even 3 weeks ago. Lin trained at the base since he was 10 years old, so this head coach knows him very well.

PS here is Mr Coach and his cap if any one else wants to make fun of him.
PS, Lin's previous coach was in the hall that day too, haha

From Hina's account on X:

Thank you so much for your continued support.
I had resumed training in preparation for competing in the Asian Championships, but while I was training there I hurt my arm again and had to withdraw from my singles match.

To all the fans who were looking forward to the match, I apologize for causing you concern 🙇‍♂️
I will do my best to make a full recovery so that I can return to the court in good health.
