Best blade to have Dignics 80 on both sides?

Mizutani Jun ZLC? Of course, this is the actual Pro setup used my Mizutani.

But is there a better blade fit?

For better control, is Innerforce Layer ZLC + Dignics 80 both sides an optimal combination? Mid-distance all-around blade paired with mid-distance all-around rubber. Seems like a great fit.

Anybody here try Innerforce ZLC + Dignics 80?

Context: Dignics 80 is the “all around” Dignics version of Tenergy 05. Like Tenergy 05, it is equally balanced for Forehand/Backhand, not leaning towards one side. I loved it on my Viscaria forehand so I was wondering how it paired with ZLC?

Dignics 05: leans toward Backhand
Dignics 09c: leans toward Forehand
Dignics 64: leans toward Backhand
Dignics 80: equal balance Fore/Back- hand

One could reasonably argue that Dignics 80 is the best all-around rubber that money can buy right now. Effective for close-to-table, mid-distance, and far away. Works on either side. Perfect blend/balance of spin, speed, and control. The ultimate Jack-of-all-trades Rubber?

What do u use as ur Forehand?

Could u experiment with D80 as your Forehand and tell us how it goes?
I current use H3N Provincial Blue sponge. I’m actually twiddling sometimes in training to test Hurricane on BH again for my planned DHS setup. I’ll see how D80 feels on my FH but I’m probably going to struggle as I’m very used to Chinese rubbers on my forehand (and honestly on my Bh too, cuz I like the feeling of H3 on Bh and Dignics can be a little bouncy in the short game at times)

The short game I agree somewhat, but the truth is that Dignics was designed to be a ball holding series which is why many players don't like it on the forehand vs Tenergy. So you might be surprised with how controllable Dignics 80 us despite not being sticky.

It’s honestly super controlled in topspin and block in and I really like it. Short game has always been my weak point but i can still control it somewhat well with D80. But with H3 it’s far easier and since I play pretty powerfully I can make H3 work in topspin Bh too, just blocking will need getting used to imo. But I could probably switch between H3 and D80 pretty comfortably which may sound surprising to many of you but it’s just how I feel

Doesn't surprise me at all, I switched from Skyline 3 to D80 and it's been pretty smooth with the improved speed doing wonders for my countering and blocking game. I used to distrust the claim that Harimoto used D05 on his forehand but I am not as distrustful anymore.

Harimoto equipment: https://pingsunday.com/tomokazu-harimoto-equipment/

2024 WTT Singapore Smash: Dignics 05 forehand, Dignics 05 backhand

2023 WTT Championships: Dignics 09c forehand, Dignics 09c backhand

So basically, within the past 1 year, Harimoto made the switch from D09c both sides to now D05 both sides.

I'm very curious as to why he suddenly decided that Dignics05 was better than 09c on both fore and back hand?

You sure he ever used D09c? Where did you see that?

Without photos or clarity on their sources, ping Sunday is not reliable.

But is there a better blade fit?

The question has no sense. There is no "best" blade. There is a blade more suited to your taste, qualities and flaws. The one that Mizutani prefers would not be the one that FZD or ML would, or the one that you would. Just try and repeat.

Replace your D05 with D80. D80 > D05 as a Forehand rubber.

Don't believe me? Twiddle your blade and try out D80 on your Forehand. You will love it. More direct than D05.
No I did I prefer 05 on FH. A bit easier to loop against backspin for me
