Bh rubber for advanced intermediate

I'm an advanced intermediate player, currently playing T05 FH,Fastarc G1 Bh on FZD Alc.

I'm a 3rd Ball atracker aggressor when serving and a controller type when receiving.

As my Fastarc G1 is getting old I want to try a new BH rubber which might be even better. I'm considering the T19 or the Victas V22 . From what I see both should be not too far from Fastarc yet should give a bit more spin and maybe power.

How do V22 and T19 compare to each other? It's strange that many players single them out as the best BH rubber, but I could not find and direct comparisons between the two.

For me I give Fastarc a solid 8.5/9 on 10. It's very good for everything, very natural, but does not have any stand out quality to it... This neutral feel is good for my BH, but an upgrade in terms of speed and spin with equal control is always welcome!

Would love to hear your thoughts. Thx

I cannot talk about a comparison of T19 and V22, however, as I play the V22 I can briefly comment on that rubber. For me two things stand out:
1. Incredible safety with heavy backspin pushes slighly above the net allowing for variation of short, mid and long position on the table.
2. Safety on blocks and counter also allowing for mid-distance topspin.

Only downside - if you will - is the slightly higher weight (uncut 68 g, cut on 157 mm x 150 mm with two layers of glue 49 g) compared to its competitors but my point number 1 from above easily eliminates that slight concern.

I play the V22 in blue in 2.0 mm on my BH.

Who says T19 is the best bh rubber? Just curious.

I think I have seen one sheet of it on anybody's bat since Bty released T19. Literally nobody in the US plays it.

But maybe in Mongolia you guys see a lot of T19? I would have guessed H3 37, so interesting tidbit.

Kanak Jha and Gerassimenko used them for quiet a long time before switching to dignics

Hello, I consider myself an intermediate level player and I used the T19 with cybershape carbon, for some time on the backhand side, so I will mention some points: 1) responsive and fast; 2) medium trajectory; 3) easy for opening loops; 4) loud click sound; 5) soft touch.

I think you'll like the H3 neo 37° boostered... much more spin and control, but with low trajectory!

This is very promising , two very important points. What about opening loop vs backspin? I normally get all my rubbers in Max, it might add further weight but I feel better with thicker sponge. Does V22 also work well as a FH rubber?

I do not like the H3 series because I don't like the way it blocks so slow - I am a controller when not serving, therefore I will normally push, allow them to attack and pressure them with fast blocks until their attack is weak. Once the attack isn't good enough I will counter either with a powerful punch block or with a counter loop - normally at my level the point ends here, sometimes it leads to a prolonged rally.

I see that you switched to D05 - what advantages does it have over T19? Is D05 good for this type of game? D05 is the 3rd rubber I am considering as my BH actually.

So, the Dignics 05 is the best butterfly rubber in general terms... compared to the Tenergy 19, I think that the Dig05 is more balanced, more controlled on medium strength shots, easier for blocks and punches, less sensitive to the opponent's spin and with a lower arc. This is the best rubber I have used on the cybershape wood, backhand side.
Today i'm using a cybershape carbon and trying to adapt with the dignics 09c on the backhand side, which is more controlled, good to short game, high arc and very hardware to touch ... I liked!

Tenergy 19 is basically the plastic ball version of Tenergy 05. Anyone that is still using Tenergy 05 should in my opinion at least give 19 a try.

If you've seen one sheet on somebody's blade then literally somebody is playing it 😉

Seriously tho it's a very highly regarded rubber by all accounts but like T25 and T80 it's far less used than 05 and 64.
