Hi folks
I'm seeking advice on what blade to try next in the hope of avoiding any expensive mistakes!
I have been playing a Yasaka Silverline All Wood since returning to TT 2 yrs ago.
It's a relatively slow blade but has great feel and has been brilliant in helping me to build my strokes and techniques. I'm still looping everything on both sides with Rakza X Soft on BH and Rakza Z on FH.
I don't want to move to carbon or anything too fast so what I'm looking for is another All Wood blade that is a bit faster but will retain that all important feel and feedback in the hand. Hopefully this blade will then allow my technique to take me to faster rubbers than I have currently and thereby (hopefully) a more dangerous player.
I'm tempted by the Nittaku Acoustic or Violin but I have trouble believing they would be worth that price to a player at my standard, or maybe they would be?.....
Be delighted to hear your feedback on them or other blades you might suggest!
Thanks in advance
Andrew

I don't have experience with the blade you have, but I used to play with the Yasaka ma lon extra offensive, which I guess falls into the same arctype of blades. It may be a little faster, also has hard top plies.

A other suggestion that's definitely faster is the Sanwei Fextra 7. It has two Limba layers as top plies and as a 7ply allwood blade will be faster and more bouncy, it's an excellent looping blade. You can get them very cheap. Get one around 90g for more stability

I had the yasaka silver line blade. You will find the sansei fextra 7is what you looking for.

$20usd. On AliExpress. Can't go wrong.

It is reasonably fast and can be used up to mid distance looping. It's 7ply. Great feel.

The Nittaku acoustic inner carbon g revision, just upgraded from The Butterfly Korbel (japan). Both great blades. With limba piles for more feeling/control and reasonable speed.
