Get a cheap piece of Neo Hurricane 3 it goes well with your wooden blade. It's a looping machine on a wooden blade.

I was thinking about getting a NEO Hurricane 3, but the only thing that is holding me back is that I might not be skilled enough to play with the hard, tacky, fully chinese-style rubber.

I understand your point that the NEO Hurricane 3 is a looping machine, but I'm worried that it also might be too slow with my blade, or might be too difficult for me to play with.

This was why I was looking for a hybrid Chinese-Euro/Japanese rubber, and that's why I am thinking about the Palio Thor's.

I recommend Vega China if you can get one.

I think Vega China rubber will be slightly too expensive for me, but I would still like to know what it's like.

How does the Vega China rubber feel like? Is it similar to the hybrid Chinese-Euro/Jap rubber (like the Palio Thor's) that I'm looking for?

Those rubbers will work very well with that blade. A Yasaka Sweden Extra with Palio Thor on the FH will be good.

Thanks Carl! How does a Thor's compare to a traditional chinese tacky rubber, for example, H3 NEOs?

BTW: This rubber would be really good:

Nexy Elpis. I hit with that over the weekend and I was surprised at how good and it was for the price and how much control it had.

It is a hybrid it has a half tacky topsheet that plays like a Chinese topsheet and it has a sponge that has some spring but not too much spring. I was impressed with how I could use it on either wing and it would work fine for me.

Good point. H3 requires some techniques and training. But you can buy 39degree which is not that hard.

Alternatively try Sanwei National Target, Vega China or Yasaka Rising Dragon
