Have any of you guys tried using blue sponge Hurricane 3 or Skyline rubbers on your backhand? If so, what was your experience?
I am considering trying it, because my backhand is my stronger side. Usually I play with blue sponge on the forehand, since that's what everyone else does. But most people are forehand-dominant, so maybe the reason they do that is because their forehand is their stronger side. Supposedly the blue sponge lets you get some more spin and power than the orange sponge.
Unfortunately my racket is asymmetrical (I am a penholder and have modified my racket) so I can't just turn the racket around and try blue sponge on the backhand.
If anyone else has tried it and can compare it to the DHS orange sponge I would be interested to hear about it.
