Boosting LAC with only one layer of seamon shows nearly no curling after 20 hours.

Hi guys,
i put a layer of seamon (regular) on a new sheet of LAC and wonder that it does not show much curling at all. It is possible that it was slighty curled yesterday evening (which would be about 10 hours after applying).

I wonder if one can derive the amount of change in feel of the rubber from the amount of curling. I really just wanted to make the LAC a touch softer for playing in cold environments, since without the ability to keep the rubber warm it will most likely feel like a brick without me boosting it.

Would you glue it like that or apply another layer ? I really dont want to overdo it and dont want more speed or something. Just a little softer sponge which fights the harder feeling when playing in cold gyms.
The LAC is the left one. On the right this is a Rxton 9 or Rxton 3 with a similar amount of booster also not really doming. Can i expect a change of behaviour of the rubber even if it does not dome ?

its not always about curling,
so based on what you want (little softer), then I will say, try it out and see.
you don't like it, can always remove the rubber and just add an extra little layer.

If my memory is correct, I recall my LAC didn't curve much too.

for curling, you need to add heavier layers, the more oil, the more dome basically.

Remember that there are at least 2 versions of both LAC an R9 on the market. You also therefore get 2 versions of owners one lot think these two rubbers are the best thing since sliced bread while the other lot (I belong to these) think the rubbers are bloody useless. You actually say it :
"it will most likely feel like a brick".

I did boost R9 with seamoon until the cows came home and it was still a brick. LAC I never even bothered boosting , just sold it to the coach after trying it for half an hour.

it does feel like a brick if the temperature is below 10° Celsius for sure, but same goes for many harder rubbers. In regular playing conditions > 17° Celsius the rubber plays fine.

R9 was not really tacky for me and obviously too H3 like for me to play comfortably without boosting.

low temperature is a problem for chinese rubbers
I guess that is one way for beating the chinese, haha

I would just boost it a bit more.

I boosted a sheet of LAC 2 weeks ago, and I gotta say the improvement in performance was quite notable. I think it also didn't quite curl as much as other rubbers. LAC tends to curl up inward, so the outward curl after boosting isn't as pronounced.

do you know why it curls inwards?
