Equipment is pretty homogenized now. If you make something not koto/limba, inner/outer alc it might not really sell, unfortunately. They lack of concept no more hinoki, no more balsa, no more slow composite with good soft touch blades, no more walnut, ebony, just another of copy work
That’d make sense. Freitas ALC hasn’t been updated in a very long time and we already have a ton of outer carbon koto bladeslogical, Inner force and now outer force.
Will it be limba top ply?
As in BTY website, these new blades (including ZLC outer) are for beginners/intermediate players!!!

We can easily tame a ZLC-outer beast!
Also they wont be cheap. The ALC will be at 3/4 pf Viscaria price, the ZLC just a bit more than Viscaria, and the CAF will be double the price of Korbel, see https://www.butterfly.shop/category/SHAKE/
Just get a Joola ZQH45Outerforce Super ALC when? I like the feeling of the Freitas and the performance of FZDSALC and I'd love to try out an outer SALC with limba top
Wait? They're thicker. Weird, why take an outer zlc, make it thicker and sell it to beginners intermediates? Would it not be even faster? Did they completely change the core?i don’t understand why they made them thicker? one of the biggest arguments for a carbon blade over an 7ply ist the added stability without a thick construction… i would have understood if they choose softer wood and make them slightly thinner like 5.7
the idea is good and since xiom don’t sell the Hugo HAL anymore there is a good chance that people switching to that. but with 6.2 thickness?
