I'm sure about that! Could be a fake but I'm wondering about what are the advantages using such a blade...

In general: None.

On a personal level you might just feel so good with a certain handle (but not the blade that it´s from) that you stick it on any blade you ever play with.

But really it is used to disguise that a player under contract with A actually plays with a blade manufactured by B.

Also an interesting concept - Take one Viscaria (165 USD) and one Infinity (95), do a bit of woodwork and sell for 365. That´s 105 USD gained (and I am sure someone will actually buy this) AND you still have an Infinity Blade to put the Viscaria handle on and sell that for 275
