China National Team Closed Training - WTTTC 2018

The Chinese National Team are currently in preparations for the upcoming World Team Championships with their rigorous closed training in Xiamen for 1 month. Ma Long will join the training after this weeks German Open. Five coaches of the China National Team are in charge of the training.

At noon on march 18th , China's table tennis men 's team arrived in Xiamen , fujian , preparing for the world table tennis champion ship. The men's team players in WTTTC sweden are Ma long , Xu xin , Fan zhendong . The other two player who won the trial to be in Halmstad are Lin gaoyuan and Wang chuqin . CNT also introduced the coaching team ( as I read in chinese news ): Wu jing ping , Lin guozheng , Wang hao , Ma jufeng , and liu heng .In addition , There are three foreign physical coaches accompanying the team to Xiamen . Beside five player in WTTTC , Fang bo , zhou yu , liang jingkun , and xu fei will be in closed training too . zhang jike who was chased by fans in the air port is in Xiamen list too . Be cause of injury he coudn't participated in WTTTC qualification but hopefully reading his name in the list , impressively showing his determination to continue his career . It's worth mentioning that The closed training will take one month . This is also the 16th time for the men's team to come to xiamen for training .

After their arrival and rest , on march 19th , guoping started to train .....

According to the training center of Xiamen who originally posted the above photos of men's closed training, all the training photos above were taken on Mar 19, the first training day.
On Mar 20, some officials visited the training center, including the head of GAS TT/Badminton center Lei Jun.

Women's team arrived in Huangshi on Mar 18.

In the evening, there was an orientation. You can find three foreign physical coaches at the back. 5 women's CNT coaches are Li Sun, Xiao Zhan, Chen Bin, Huang Haicheng, Zhang Qin.

Training started on Mar 19.

Some Chinese TT fans are complaining that the closed training this time is SHORT, compared to previous times for WTTTC.
As I said, CNT cannot lose. Their rivals are all non-CNT teams. Other teams should think the same way: they are against the whole world except for themselves, not CNT only.

Europe dont have the resources plus players cant afford to invest a month into training like this

I don't agree. Europe is rich but pour money into global conflicts and other nonsense. China keeps to themselves and prioritize TT.

Physical training time !!!! yessss . CNT care a lote to physical training and in recent years have hired several foreign coaches in this part . let's have a look on their physical training in xiamen .....
