Hello. I am using Chinese rubbers for a long time. And now, decided to use tensor, butterfly rubbers..tenergy 05 from DHS Hurricane 3 because I am tired of boosting.

I like the T05 but, I have noticed few things,

1. I feel the rally is super fast with tensor.
I used tensor cause I want to finish points asap.
I think, I can cope with these.

2. Before, in h3, I can make points with heavy push returns with backhand as well as fh.
May I know the technique on how to have a heavy backspin in push with tensor.

3. On service, I am still practicing on how can I make a spinny serve like the H3. Cause in H3, I can feel the squeaky sound on contact.

To summarize, on h3, it seems I can feel the squeaky sound on contact, or I can feel the dwell on contact, but in t05, i think, it just contact yet, I have the speed and the spin already..

How can I cope fast?
Is there a feeling of feedback too in t05?

Basically the same technique that you used before. An example is Victas V > 22: a great rubber for hard pushes with lots of backspin; however, the blade can make a great difference. V > 22 does not work with every blade well. And as always, a lot of the feelings/perceptions on any behaviour is personal.

So fundamentally to answer your question: I believe with tensor rubbers you can achieve the same results as with Chinese rubbers but a lot depends on the blade/rubber combination.

Perhaps D09c is a better step to take
If you consider that the whole development of the "hybrid" rubbers with their sticky/very grippy topsheet in combination with a dynamic Tensor sponge or Spring Sponge was pretty clearly meant to be an alternative to boosted Chinese rubbers, this might be the way to go.

But by now there should also be newer Chinese rubbers that feel more alive without booster? Hurricane 8-80?

H8-80’s QC is horrible

T05 playstyle:
1. Not for pussy push-blockers.
2. Open up, then drive, drive and drive till the end of rally.
3. Serve and ready to drive FTW!
4. Stay a little bit back to rally. T05 is not meant for close to table play.

I second Dignics 09c as the alternative instead of T05.

If you want to generate spin with T05, you have to dig into the sponge and use the sponge to help you generate spins.

H3, you can cheat and just use the tacky top sheet to spin the ball for you.

honestly at top speed, H3 and T05 are equal. I would even argue if you can bite into H3 sponge, the shot should be as powerful as T05 if not even more.

However both are good rubbers. T05, you should be careful about what blade you pair it with. For example, my super fast Nittaku Acoustic carbon, outer carbon layer, is sooooo fast. There is little to no dwell. I cannot imagine putting T05 on that blade and then try to spin the ball. It has to be smashing or driving (AKA Mima Ito style).

Interested to know what blades do you think Victas V >22 doesnt pair well with. Thanks

The blade where the V > 22 showed more catapult on pushes (leading to the ball either not landing on the table or way too high so an easy one for the opponent to immediately attack) was on a Butterfly Outer SZLC blade, specifically the Lin Yun-Ju Super ZLC.

Where the V > 22 really performs well is on the Victas Koki Niwa ZC (outer Carbon) and the DHS Hurricane Long 5X (inner Carbon).

Ironically, many of the "tensor" rubbers have bad durability, so you will need to "revive" them after a while ;D
So the booster must stay your friend occasionally :)

And yes, it would be much better to make a transition from H3 to the softer grippy tensors (like Baracuda and Fastarc) instead of T05. For me, playing T05 right after H3 was a nightmare.

Actually, I miss the feels that I tacky rubber to spin the ball.
And with H3, I feel I can win points in slow spinny first attacks.
now, I am struggling one which one to use.

That's too big of a jump from H3 to Tenergy 05. They are markedly different.
You should go for hybrid rubber.
For Butterfly, it's Dignics 09c.
They are many other good hybrid rubbers out there. Different people have different preference.
My personal favourite is Sanwei Gear Hyper. Probably will upgrade to Sanwei Target National later.
