Hello.

A while back I had bought a Moon Speed 53 Asia while I was in China.

I have been trying it on my forehand for a couple of weeks and I quite like it.
It is pretty fast and it is medium hard but not too hard so it is still ok to topspin against backspin.
I will test on my backhand soon.

Since I did not have the chance to try many rubbers myself I was wondering if there were similar Yinhe rubbers but just a bit more tacky - to increase serve spin.

How does Moon Speed 53 compare to other Yinhe rubbers ?

Thanks.

Hi.

Thanks for your answer.

My feeling was that Big Dipper was a super fast rubber but that's maybe cause I tested it on a different blade.
I tested on the forehand on a Yinhe T11 and currently my blade is a Yasaka maLin Carbon.
Yes T11 is a really fast blade. It will give a different feeling on your Ma Lin Carbon

Jupiter 3 in hardness 39 would be good

Big dipper pro is a bit slower

Moon lacks tackiness and plays more like weaker euro rubber with some tack

Apollo 5 has harder top sheet and feels more Chinese like, but has a lot of power if you engage the sponge

Following on Moon Speed 53 Asia vs Moon Speed 53 Europe. What's the difference ?
My understanding is that there's no difference, it's just a "We sell the Asia in China and Europe in the rest of the world" thing. I might be wrong, though.

Regarding the OP question, I think MS53 is pretty much its own thing in the Yinhe catalogue. They still haven't used that sponge on anything else. But if you want more tacky, BD it's a pretty good choice. It will probably feel slower that when you tested it on T-11 (that blade is too fast). But I don't think it's slow at all (I don't boost, if that info is any good for you).

Does mean that ms53 and moon13 are worlds apart? Or just stating the ms53 is different
Or how do they compare?

Naa, they are just different. MS53 is definitely harder and it shows when you hit. I like it better for forehand. M12 is softer and allows for easier engagement of the topsheet. But it's not worlds apart, they are on the "same scale", I would say.
